Communication Specialist
Daria Hodies is the Communications Specialist for The Irving Law Firm, focusing on administrative duties, marketing, and social media content creation. She greets and takes care of our clients, takes time to carefully craft our online presence, and works on helping our staff with anything they need. While she is taking on all of these tasks, much of Daria’s time is devoted to curating exceptional communication between The Irving Law Firm and everyone in the community.
Before joining our firm, Daria grew up in Northern Virginia, and graduated from Temple University in 2023 with her degree in Communications Studies with a Media Environments Track. An avid writer and storyteller, Daria has done social media and administrative jobs for other companies based in Virginia, and journalism work for the criminal and law news outlet, D.C. Witness. In 2025, Daria self published her poetry book, “Seven Years of Bad Luck,” which contained many years of her creative essays, poems, and letters.
When Daria isn’t working, she enjoys being at the movies, going to see her favorite bands in concert with her friends, and trying different local coffee shops. She also takes care of her two dogs, Scout and Raine, and loves sitting by the ocean to write whatever is inspiring her in that very moment.
