Angela Morehouse, Attorney For The Irving Law Firm

Effective October 2023, The Irving Law Firm promoted Angela Morehouse to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Angela, who previously held the title of Family Law Division Lead, has been instrumental in guiding our firm through significant growth in both attorney and paralegal staff within that division. With her new role, Angela will leverage her pre-law business and marketing background to oversee the firm’s operations. She will also spearhead our firm’s growth initiatives in Personal Injury and Estate Planning. Moreover, Angela will play a pivotal role in our upcoming geographic expansions, particularly in our Family and Criminal Law practice areas.

Angela’s legal journey spans over thirteen years in active litigation and over five years with The Irving Law Firm, where she has showcased her expertise in litigating high-conflict family law matters, guardianship and fiduciary proceedings, and serving as a Guardian ad Litem for children and incapacitated adults. Before joining us, Angela owned, managed, and served as the lead attorney at The Morehouse Law Firm, P.L.L.C. for five years and was previously associated with Von Keller Law, P.C. Her legal career in the Northern Virginia area commenced with a clerkship under The Honorable William D. Hamblen of the Prince William County Circuit Court from 2009-2010. Angela is an alumnus of William & Mary School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2009. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Old Dominion University, majoring in Communications (Corporate focus) with a minor in Management.

While Angela will still be seen representing clients in court, especially in the Estate and Personal Injury fields, her primary focus will now transition from family law litigation to the broader operations and growth of The Irving Law Firm. Angela’s unparalleled experience, dedication to excellence, and unwavering commitment make her an invaluable asset to our team. We are excited and optimistic about the future under her visionary leadership.
